The Uncalled For
A mid 60s psych band from the Manchester and Tullahoma area.

The Uncalled For formed in 1966 with members Larry Welding (lead guitar, vocals), Doug Wurst (guitar), Cliff Wurst (keyboards), Pam Cobb (keyboards), Tollie Lee (vocals), Russell Riddle (bass), and Ray Cobb (drums). The Manchester Times reported that "Ray Cobb started The Uncalled For band in November of 1966 right after football season."
The band had a hit single with “Do Like Me.” Written by Lee and Weildin, the was successful on both the East and West coast.
After this band, bass player Russell Riddle went on to play with "Trilly Cole and the Capers," touring the US widely for 8 years.
They reformed in 2010 with four of its original members. Cliff Wurst and Weildin had passed away before the reunion took place. Notably they played Bonnaroo in 2011 at the On Tap Lounge after the Nashville-based Jeff the Brotherhood.
