Cool Records of Kenny Marlow.

While Discogs says "1960s doo-wop label from Nashville, Tennessee, for The Rockets," many of the tracks by The Rockets from Danville, Illinois stray into the straight rock and roll category, with raucous rockabilly influences present. The Rockets with a female lead vocalist provides a unique sound, especially with such fast-paced music. Apparently the only releases by The Rockets exist on this label, just as the only releases on this label are by The Rockets. The writing credits for the slow ballad song "Special Delivery" belong to the brothers Ronnie and Jimmy Isle, who published through local attorney and label boss Kenny Marlow. Marlow ran several labels and a studio downtown, Globe, which may have been the locations of the recordings.
