A mention in Cashbox in 1966 indicates it as a new label, named for Dollie Denny, mother of Bill and John Denny, owners of Cedarwood Publishing. However it may be a rebranding and continuation of Dollie Record Co.
As a label the output focused on country music with a notable exception of The Uncalled For, out of Tullahoma.
